Better Job Postings, Better Creative Matches: Improved Freelance Hiring on Behance
Published January 20, 2026 by the Behance Team

Behance is where the best creatives meet the best opportunities. Our commitment has always been two-fold: helping creatives access quality opportunities and helping clients connect with the right candidates.

Posting your freelance job to Behance is already the fastest way to find and hire creative talent. And now with structured freelance job posts, we're elevating that experience for both clients and creatives. This new format provides a consistent structure and more in-depth details to provide more accurate and relevant candidate recommendations.

Create a Freelance Job in Seconds with AI

With the help of AI, hirers can go from posting a freelance job to reviewing candidate portfolios in seconds. Simply enter a short description about what the project you’re hiring for, along with the budget, and timeline. From this, we’ll generate a complete job listing that you can edit and review and recommend available freelance creatives that fit the requirements of your project.

If you prefer to input the details yourself, click the Create project without AI option on the top right, and follow these steps:

1. Describe the Job

Provide a clear overview of what you’re looking for. This can include the project scope, the purpose and goals, and the intended audience. Include expectations and deliverables, including revisions and feedback process.

You can also add sections to specify the visual style or direction you’re looking for, key skills, candidate requirements, and more.

2. Set Your Budget

Select a range that best suits your budget .

3. Add Additional Details

Add a title for the job and select up to 3 categories. This metadata helps us match you to the most relevant and qualified candidates. You can also link to your company’s website and set a specific location for candidates.

4. Review the Job

Be sure to review all the details of the job before you publish. You can choose to automatically send your job to the top 10 recommended candidates, and to post it to our private job board to get additional applications.

Once you publish the job, you’ll be matched to recommended creatives based on their availability, experience, budget, and skill set. Quickly jump into portfolios to evaluate fit, and send the job to the best qualified candidates.
